Payment Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

This Payment Policy explains how paying for CONCLAVE tokens works — what a token buys, which payment methods are accepted, when tokens reach your balance, and what happens when something goes wrong. Section 2 sets out what the single tokens wallet covers — both Oracle readings and relic acquisition. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

1. Pre-launch: no charges are taken

CONCLAVE is currently in pre-launch and buying tokens is disabled. Tokens are granted to your account so you can consult the Oracle at no charge, and no payment method is collected or charged at this time. The sections below describe how payment will work once paid top-ups become available.

2. One balance: tokens

Your account holds a single balance, denominated in tokens, and everything the sanctum charges for is charged in tokens. One token buys one Oracle reading. Acquiring a relic in the Vault also settles in tokens, at the relic’s token price shown on its card. Tokens cannot be withdrawn as cash and have no monetary value outside the Service.

Any euro figure shown against a relic is the Oracle’s estimate of what that relic commands on the open market. It is information, not a balance: you never hold or spend euros here.

This Payment Policy governs the purchase of tokens. During pre-launch tokens cannot be bought at all — they are granted to your account. Acquiring a relic therefore settles against a granted balance rather than a payment: no card is charged, no money moves, and delivery of the relic itself is deferred until launch. Paid relic acquisition is not available and is not covered by this policy.

3. What a token buys

CONCLAVE runs on prepaid tokens with no subscription and no recurring charge. One (1) token entitles you to one (1) Oracle reading of a single relic. Tokens are a prepaid balance held against your account: they hold no cash value, are non-transferable between accounts, and cannot be withdrawn as cash.

Because nothing renews, there is no plan to downgrade and no date by which you must cancel. Walking away costs nothing, and tokens already on your account remain there until you use them.

4. Offerings and prices

Tokens are sold in fixed offerings, with a custom amount also available. The price of each offering is shown on the Offerings page and again at checkout before you confirm — the amount displayed is the amount charged, and nothing is added afterwards. Prices are shown in euro.

If your card is denominated in another currency, your bank or card issuer performs the conversion at their own rate and may add a conversion fee. That fee is set by them, not by us, and does not appear on our side of the transaction. If you need an invoice for your legal and accounting records rather than a receipt, ask us and we will provide one.

5. Accepted payment methods

When paid top-ups are enabled, we will accept Visa and Mastercard. Card details are handled entirely by our third-party payment processor and are never stored on our servers, which means we cannot see or retrieve your full card number, and no one at CONCLAVE can charge your card outside a purchase you begin yourself.

There is no stored card to keep up to date: each purchase is entered fresh, so a replaced or expired card breaks nothing.

6. When tokens reach your balance

Tokens are added to your balance as soon as payment is confirmed, and every movement is recorded against your account — what you bought, what each reading cost, and anything returned to you, with the resulting balance. A charge you are unsure about can therefore be traced to the exact reading that caused it rather than argued about in the abstract.

7. When a reading fails

You are not charged for a reading that does not arrive. The Oracle is a live call to a real model: if it errors, returns nothing usable, or is interrupted, the token reserved for it returns to your balance without you having to ask. A reading that completed is charged normally — a reading you can open and read is not refunded because you navigated away from it.

A failure cannot charge you twice. A reservation either settles once or is released once, so retrying after a failure begins from your full balance.

8. Failed or disputed payments

If a payment fails, no tokens are added and you are not charged. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, or do not recognise a charge, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank — quoting the entry from your credit history is the fastest way for us to find it. Refund eligibility and your statutory rights are set out in our Refund Policy.

9. Contact
